How to copy your flash drive to another flash drive using Windows PC

This page will teach you how to copy your flash drive over to share with friends and loved ones.

What you will need:

To start this process, you need your flash drive along with the flash drive you are copying to. You will also need a PC with at least two USB ports.

Place the flash drives in the port

Carefully place both of your flash drive into the port. If they do not go in easily, make sure they are facing the right way and try again.

Wait a few seconds

Sometimes it can take a few seconds for your computer to "see" your flash drive and recognize it. Be sure to let it have a moment after plugging it in.

Locate your flash drives

Find your flash drive and the one to copy to.

Select the files to copy over

Open your flash drive and press "Control" and "A" at the same time to select all files. Then right click on the highlighted files and select "copy."

Open the other flash drive

Find the other flash drive, the one you want to copy to. Open it, then right click and select "paste."

Wait for the transfer to finish

Depending on how many files you have or how large your files may be, this could take a few seconds to several minutes.

Eject both flash drives

After the transfer is finished, you can safely eject your flash drives and remove them from the computer.
