How to preview files before opening on Windows PC

This page will guide you through changing your File Explorer settings, making it easier to preview your photos or videos on your flash drive without having to open each file one by one.

Open File Explorer

On your computer, open File Explorer to get started.

Find your flash drive in the menu on the left and click on it.

How To Open Flash Drive

Open folder

Open the folder you desire in the menu to the right of the previous menu.

Change view

At the top of your screen, you should see a small icon labeled "View." Click on the drop down menu to continue.

Icon size

From the list of options, you can choose Extra Large, Large, Medium, and Small icons. All of these options will display an image if changed. You are welcome to choose the size that works best for you.

View photos

From here, you should be able to see a preview of each image or video.
