How to use split screen

This guide will show you how to open File Explorer in split-screen mode. Using this feature can be a useful tool when you are transferring files to your computer or making copies of your flash drive to share with family members.

Open File Explorer

When you are ready to begin, open File Explorer.

Resize Window

Click on the "Restore Down" button at the top right corner of your screen. Then resize your window to your desired size.

Right click File Explorer

Instead of double clicking on File Explorer to open it, right click and select open. This will bring up another window within File Explorer.

Manage files

From here, you should have two windows open in File Explorer. If you would like an additional window, repeat the previous steps and resize your windows as needed to fit your screen.
